Subject:-Regarding actions against the suspicion and
impersonators of Gandhi Maidan, Patna police to harass Mahadalit at midnight
Sir,
Some police men identifying themselves the police posted at
Gandhi Maidan, Patna visited the house of Mahadalit Mr. Gautam Kumar son of
Tasvir Mallik resident of Chhaju Bag, Lodipur, Patna under Gandhi Maidan,
Police Station, Patna at midnight on 06-11-2017 looking for Gautam Kumar. The
relatives of Gautam Kumar are not being informed why the police are looking for
Gautam Kumar nor are they giving details of any registered complaint and FIR
which has sent the family in shock and wandering.
I also contacted the Gandhi Maidan Police Station, Patna on
07-11-2017 to know anything about the matter but the Gandhi Maidan Police
Station told me that there is no any such case and information which makes the
case of impersonation of Police at Gandhi Maidan Police Station, Patna. I also
browsed the name of reported accused and complainant on the website of Bihar
State Crime Record Bureau but all in vain.
I, therefore, appeal you to ensure actions into the matter of
suspicion and impersonation of police to harass a Mahadalit.
