Subject:-Regarding actions against the suspicion and impersonators of Gandhi Maidan, Patna police to harass Mahadalit at midnight

Sir,

Some police men identifying themselves the police posted at Gandhi Maidan, Patna visited the house of Mahadalit Mr. Gautam Kumar son of Tasvir Mallik resident of Chhaju Bag, Lodipur, Patna under Gandhi Maidan, Police Station, Patna at midnight on 06-11-2017 looking for Gautam Kumar. The relatives of Gautam Kumar are not being informed why the police are looking for Gautam Kumar nor are they giving details of any registered complaint and FIR which has sent the family in shock and wandering.

I also contacted the Gandhi Maidan Police Station, Patna on 07-11-2017 to know anything about the matter but the Gandhi Maidan Police Station told me that there is no any such case and information which makes the case of impersonation of Police at Gandhi Maidan Police Station, Patna. I also browsed the name of reported accused and complainant on the website of Bihar State Crime Record Bureau but all in vain.

I, therefore, appeal you to ensure actions into the matter of suspicion and impersonation of police to harass a Mahadalit.

Subject:-Regarding prevention of employees mainly from lower caste from cleaning feces illegally flushed into public drain

Sir,

Patna happens to be the state capital of Bihar and abode of the honorable Chief Minister, Bihar where top bureaucrats have been monitoring “SWACHH BHARAT” mission and ensuring the construction of toilets in each and every house which is under way but the residents in many wards including ward number 24 have been presently and brazenly flushing feces in drain in the absence of space for toilet tank which force the sweeper and cleaner in Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna to clean the feces in place of silt and garbage from the drain which is clearly an act of immunizing one section of the society and sickening the other section (sweeper and cleaner) mainly the lower caste of the society.

I, therefore, appeal you to ensure the ban on flushing of feces into drain and immunizing sweeper and cleaner mainly from lower caste against cleaning feces instead of silt and garbage.

Sir,

The SC/ST is already vulnerable in the society and they have been made more vulnerable and deprived through the digitization and introduction of compulsory AADHAR for all the basic amenities for livelihood. The population of thousands of SC/ST in the area is living without AADHAR card and dependent facilities. Although there are many centers in Patna for the registration of AADHAAR but the SC/ST is not treated fairly at those centers resulting in the deprivation of getting AADHAAR Card and dependent facilities.

I, therefore, appeal you to ensure the creation of a center for registration of AADHAAR Card at Domkhana, Yarpur, P.S-Gardanibag, Patna-800001 and help the deprived section and people of the society.
